Kandi Burruss IS BACK!

Kandi was born May 17, 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia, She was one of the lead Singers in the R&B Hit Group Xscape. In 1999, Kandi &Tameka "Tiny" Cottle wrote to the international number one hit "No Scrubs" for TLC. The single received a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, MTV Video Music Award, Billboard Music Award and Soul Train Music Award. Also in 1999, Kandi scored a hit for Beyonce's Destiny's Child on their second album, "The Writing's on the Wall". "Bills, Bills, Bills", also topped the Billboard "Hot 100" chart & was followed by their second single "Bug a Boo", also Written by Kandi .Kandi was signed to Columbia Records as a solo artist and released her debut album, "Hey Kandi", in 2000. her album Debuted at number 72 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and 32 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, The Album in a sense Flopped as weighed to the overall success of her ex group Xscape. "Don't Think I'm Not", Wriiten by Kandi did manage to reach #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #32 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song charts. But her second single, "Cheatin' on Me" was peaked at number 72 on the "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Songs" chart. Because of this and despite all of Kandi song writting success she was Dropped from Columbia records in 2001. Earlier this year Kandis ex fiance Ashley "A.J." Jewell was killed in a bar fight..An Although She was dropped from Columbia & after her lovers death she continues to write music. She wrote for Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Boyz II Men, Da Brat, NSYNC, N-Toon, Solo,Usher, Mya, Joe, MC Lyte, Whitney Houston. And now Kim Zolciak

Almost 10 years later Kandi is back and with a vengeance..Staring in the real housewives of Atlanta And working on her Second solo Album B.L.O.G. Set to be released early Feb 2010. I have personally had the chance to meet interview and talk to Kandi on several occasions and i have yet to meet such a sweet humble and real Celebrity to this day....WE LOVE YOU KANDI AND WELCOME BACK!
