Peterson SPEEDING...Slow down bro!

Peterson cited for speeding

Associated Press

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson said Thursday that he'll be more careful after police clocked him driving 109 mph on a suburban Minneapolis highway over the weekend and cited him for speeding.

Peterson told The Associated Press he "got a little speeding ticket. I need to be more aware of the speed I was going and not let it happen again."

Peterson was pulled over just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday while driving his BMW in a 55-mph zone on state Highway 62 -- a normally busy stretch of road known as the Crosstown that connects Minneapolis with southern and western suburbs, Edina police spokeswoman Molly Anderson said. She said Peterson was given a citation and allowed to drive away after what appeared to be a "very routine" traffic stop.

Anderson said police clocked the 24-year-old Peterson going 109 mph, but Peterson told the AP he wasn't going that fast.

"But I know it was [a] speeding ticket, and that's what I got issued for," Peterson said.

The stop happened the night before Peterson ran for 85 yards and a touchdown in a 36-10 victory over Chicago. The All-Pro also fumbled twice.

Peterson said he was headed to the downtown hotel where the team stays the night before home games. He said he was not late at that point.

"After I got pulled over, then I was late," Peterson said.

Peterson, a first-round draft pick out of Oklahoma from Palestine, Texas, led the NFC with 1,341 rushing yards in his rookie season with Minnesota in 2007, then led the league last season with 1,760 yards rushing.

Peterson has become one of the sport's most popular players, with a high national profile that includes an endorsement with Nike. He has no known prior off-the-field troubles, and he's active in the community with charity work. Peterson annually hosts a Special Olympics event at the team's practice facility, one of his favorite causes.

Minnesota (10-1) plays at Arizona (7-4) this Sunday night in a matchup of division leaders.

Pleasure P's Court Documents

Pleasure P's Court Documents

Former lead singer of the Miami based group Pretty Ricky was convicted of molesting a 4 year old boy.

DAMN!!!

Celebrity blogger Necole Bitchie was sent this anonymous letter;

Hey Necole,

I know you heard a lot about the whole "Pretty Rickey/Pleasure P" child molestation drama. Well I am VERY close to the situation and BOTH parties and I want you to understand that it is ALL true. Not speculation or anything. He was convicted. The problem lies in Blue Star Entertainment, the label that housed and groomed Pretty Ricky. They paid a substantial amount of money to have these documents sealed back in 2006. The label wanted to keep the aura of Pleasure in the group and figured since he was signed basically for life that they would recoup the cost. Well, this was not the case as the other members of Pretty Ricky started separating themselves from Marcus "Pleasure P" Cooper as time went on. This eventually lead to them riding in separate cars to shows, arguing amongst themselves to them even jumping him (Pleasure P) at one point. This lead to him leaving the group but he is still very much contracted to Blue Stars Entertainment for 5 albums.

Here's what happened: When he was 16 going on 17, he was left alone with his niece and nephew with whom he touched and penetrated with fingers on several occasions. His aunt noticed his niece complaining of her genital area hurting, when asked what happened she replied "Uncle Marcus keeps touching me and he hurt me". Of course Marcus (Pleasure P) denied the allegations but the doctor found signs that she had vaginal damage and tearing. Charges were then pursued by the State of Florida.

The incident happened in 2004 going into 2005. He served like 8 months, rehab and community service by time the trial came up. Marcus accepted a plea with the State of Florida and Joseph Smith who is the care giver of the niece and nephew which Marcus "Pleasure P" Cooper molested. These are not the only papers filed against him. These are the first of 3. As part of the plea agreement Marcus plead guilty and paid an "undisclosed amount" to remain free and have the records "sealed" and on the family level for them to remain quiet and not to speak publicly about it. The "sealed document" means nothing other than "we won't tell anyone it's here..but if they find it they can have it" basically. The problem also is that Attorney Goldstein (Who represented Marcus "Pleasure P" Cooper in the trial) has a daughter named Laura Goldstein who is also her fathers assistant. Marcus Cooper never completed his payments after the hearing to his attorney.

Attorney Goldstein tried to reach out to Marcus only to be told "Don't call this phone no more" on several occasions. This caused frustration on Attorney Goldstein's ends due to the time & effort he put into this "special plea bargain" he negotiated that I don't think ANY attorney could have done. After Attorney Goldstein threatened to sue Marcus Cooper the "alleged threats" became real from Coopers end. I have personally heard these messages and I know who they are from and they are very disturbing. Especially to an attorney who can use them against you.

Laura Goldstein felt her father was not doing enough to stop the threats as they began to increase so she took to twitter (her twitter is @AGoldsteinGirl) to "expose" Marcus "Pleasure P" Cooper in a way that was sure to make him "go away". Now all the documents from the initial hearing have been released and there is plenty more evidence out there I assure you. Everyone involved including Spectacular (Pretty Ricky) have commented via twitter on the documents in shock thinking they would never get out.

The next problem is whether Laura Goldsteins father will have to pay the ultimate price of getting disbarred for breaking Attorney Client Privilege or will it be deemed public domain? I don't know, but I do know both parties and its about to get ugly. I will keep you up to speed if anything else jumps off.

I STAND CORRECTED I GUESS HE REALLY DID MOLEST THOSE KIDS WOW...

NEW YORK VOTES AGAINST GAY MARRIAGES

(Albany, NY) Following one of the most dramatic and emotional discourses thus far in the gay marriage debate, the New York Senate voted 24 to 38 today to reject a bill guaranteeing equal marriage rights to same-sex couples.

Send / ShareAdd CommentThe bill, which Gov.David Paterson (D) was expected to sign right away, would have made New York - the third largest populated state in the country – the sixth state to provide equal marriage rights to gay couples.

Opponents of the measure with one exception sat silently throughout more than two hours of discourse about the bill, while 18 Democrats – many of them African Americans and Jewish people – stood to urge support for the bill.

The bill’s sponsor, openly gay Sen. Tom Duane, in closing the debate on the measure, sighed heavily and acknowledged the outcome of the vote was still uncertain. The bill needed 32 votes to pass and, while the Senate generally takes up bills only after the leadership knows it has the votes, the marriage bill was an exception. Because there were 32 Democrats (not all pro-gay) and 30 Republicans in the chamber, no one knew what the result would be.

“We have work to do in New York, and elsewhere,” said Marty Rouse, national field director for the Human Rights Campaign, which operated phone banks for constituents to call their senators on the issue. “We’re getting closer to equality, but we’re not there yet.”

The chamber was silent when the vote was announced just before 3 p.m.

The debate preceding the vote included numerous African-American senators emphasizing how similar arguments against gay marriage parallel arguments made decades ago against interracial marriage. It included many vigorous statements that the law would not affect religious freedoms.

And it included many tips of the proverbial hat to Duane and his partner Louis Webre.

“In my family and culture, especially as it relates to my religion, it has always been considered that, if you were living together and not officially married, you were considered living in sin,” said Sen. Velmanette Montgomery, an African American Democrat from Brooklyn. “So, for those of us who believe in that religious tenet, the reason why to support same-sex marriage is that we do not want them to live in sin.”

Sen. Ruth Hassell-Thompson, an African American Democrat from Williamsbridge, shared the touching story of her brother, who was estranged from his family because he was gay. She described years of trying to find him and of learning, upon the death of his partner, how her brother was left with none of the routine benefits of survivorship.

“Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Nebraska,” read Senator Eric Adams, an African American Democrat from Brooklyn.

“All of these states at one time or another sold blacks into slavery and participated in legal slavery because a numerical majority” which supported slavery at the time. “But a numerical majority in one place does not mean they are in the right place. We must lead the country to the right place.”

“The same comments being made against same-sex marriage were the same comments my grandmother received in Alabama when she wanted to marry my grandfather,” said Adam.

Sen. Bill Perkins, an African American Democrat from Harlem, started by saying to the bill’s openly gay sponsor, Tom Duane (D-Manhattan) “Thank you, brother.”

Then he turned to the galley where gay marriage supporters sat watching the debate and said, “Thank you, movement –thank you for your vigilance and your push to get us where we are today.”

Regardless of the outcome of the vote, said Perkins, change is coming “and I can see Dr. Martin Luther King smiling down on us today –recognizing that his sacrifice was not in vain.”

Senator Malcolm Smith, an African American Democrat from St. Albans, likened Duane to black civil rights icon Rosa Parks.

Many Jewish senators spoke out, too, drawing parallels between the struggle for equal rights for gays and Jews.

“This is not just for the gay and lesbian community,” said Sen. Suzi Oppenheimer, a Jewish Democrat from Mamaroneck. “It is for all of us, a measure of our humanity.”

The Senate vote, conducted in a special session called by Governor Paterson, came less than 24 hours after the state Assembly –which had passed a marriage equality bill in May— passed the bill a second time.

The Assembly action, conducted in “extraordinary session,” meant the Senate bill – if it had passed - could have gone straight to the governor for his signature. Paterson has been a vigorous advocate for the measure and instrumental in forcing the Senate vote.

The fate of the marriage equality bill had been caught up for months in partisan wrangling.

The New York Senate had repeatedly been on the brink of voting on the marriage equality bill. In early November, following the loss of a marriage equality law by referendum in Maine, the New York Senate did a last-minute back-off from a vote because supporters believed they did not have the votes to win. House Democrats, meeting with Paterson, agreed to vote by the end of the year.

But it wasn’t clear who the delays would help. While pro-gay activists used the time to lobby for the necessary 32 vote victory, the anti-gay National Organization for Marriage used the time to call out a warning – that it would organize to defeat any Republican who voted for the bill, even if the bill failed.

Same-sex couples can currently obtain marriage licenses in Connecticut, Iowa, Vermont, and Massachusetts – though in Massachusetts, the couple must either reside in the state or in a state that has not prohibited same-sex marriages. New Hampshire’s marriage equality law takes effect January 1. Residents of New York who marry in another equal marriage state or country have their marriages recognized in New York.

The City Council of Washington, D.C. on Monday gave its first vote of approval to a marriage equality bill there. The bill must now go to a second and final vote –expected December 15—then go through a 30-day Congressional review period.

DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS STORY IS TRUE OR FALSE?

WTF: Pleasure P is a Child Molester?? // Convicted of Molesting Niece and Nephew!!

PLEASURE P. - CHILD MOLESTOR!!

Wow, just when you thought 2009 wasn’t going to get any crazier!!

An explosive story just broke out about up and coming R&B singer and former Pretty Rickymember Pleasure P and it’s not looking too good. It’s quite disturbing if you ask us!

Pleasure P. (real name: Marcus Cooper) has been outed as a repeat child molestor and the victims were 4 years old and 3 years old. And to make matters worse, they were his own niece and nephew! Rumors are circulating that this is the reason why he left Pretty Ricky back in 2007. In fact, he was allegedly KICKED OUT of the group but the label and management decided it’d be best to tell the world that he just wanted to go solo.

But why is this story coming out all of a sudden? Well, because home boy couldn’t pay his bills apparently! The law firm that represented Mr. Cooper is pissed because they have not been paid. Their daughter hit up a blogger on Twitter with all of the dirty, filthy, disgusting details!

My dad was being paid to cover it up but they owe my dad a lot of money and don’t want to pay him. I first overheard my dad say that it was someone famous but I found out who he was talking about.

This guy Pleasure P got kicked out of a group bc he was hiding that he was a child molester. his managers or whatever hired my dad to keep it quiet so he could get a record deal

The guy Pleasure P molested a 4 yr old child and was about to molest another one when police came and saved the child. Now, the truth is out they’re threatening my family nd telling my dad he’s going to get sued. But they can’t because its a crime.

FreddyO says he spoke with someone who confirmed it to him as well:

I was lost for words on this whole situation, until I spoke with someone who I cannot name, that is very very very close to Pleasure P, they told me: “Yes all this Sh-t is true, not only that but one of the peps he touched was his on fam …. NEPHEW….. thats not right” He then said: “I knew all this wouldcome out in time, their is so much yall dont know but all these allegations are completely true.”

The person also told me that Pretty Ricky has never really spoke about why Pleasure left the group…

Spectacular also confirmed that P was a Molestor…

And someone sent in a very detailed letter to Necole Bitchie, and even though the dates are a bit off, the facts are all 100% correct!

TIGER WOODS IS A CHEAT!

Woods says he let family down

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP)—Tiger Woods said he let his family down with “transgressions” he regrets “with all of my heart,” and that he will deal with his personal life behind closed doors.

His statement Wednesday follows a cover story in Us Weekly magazine that reports a Los Angeles cocktail waitress claims she had a 31-month affair with the world’s No. 1 golfer.

“I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves,” Woods said on his Web site. “I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” he said.

“I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves,” Woods said. “For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology.”

The cocktail waitress, Jaimee Grubbs, told the magazine she met Woods at a Las Vegas nightclub the week after the 2007 Masters—two months before Woods’ wife, Elin, gave birth to their first child. Grubbs claims to have proof in 300 text messages.

About three hours before Woods’ statement, the magazine published what it said was a voicemail—provided by Grubbs—that Woods left on her phone on Nov. 24, three days before his middle-of-the-night car crash outside his home in Florida.

Woods has been subjected to more media headlines during the last week than when he first won the Masters in 1997 and set off the first wave of Tigermania. He has spoken only three times through his Web site, although this was his longest posting.

“Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means,” Woods said. “For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives.”

And he continued to say accounts that physical violence played a role in his Friday morning car crash were “utterly false and malicious.”

“Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect,” he wrote.

His statement came one day after the Florida Highway Patrol closed its investigation into the accident—without Woods ever speaking to state troopers. He was charged with careless driving, which carries a $164 fine and four points on his driving record.

The story soon shifted from a patrol investigation to sordid allegations into his personal life.

In the voicemail released by the magazine, a man says to Grubbs:

“Hey, it’s, uh, it’s Tiger. I need you to do me a huge favor. Um, can you please, uh, take your name off your phone. My wife went through my phone. And, uh, may be calling you. If you can, please take your name off that and, um, and what do you call it just have it as a number on the voicemail, just have it as your telephone number. That’s it, OK. You gotta do this for me. Huge. Quickly. All right. Bye.”

The Associated Press could not confirm Woods was the caller.
